Finally—2018! I don't know if it's just me, but 2017 was a rough year, filled with a lot of letting go and personal transformation. Deaths and rebirths—metaphorically speaking, of course—can get pretty exhausting to say the least.
For me, New Year's Eve is the most important event of the year, not because it's the year's biggest party, but because it allows us to put the past year in perspective, which brings about potential new goals.
This is why I always make sure to enter the new year in style. "The more extra, the better" has always been my philosophy.
This year, I was inspired by Elvira Hancock's (Michelle Pfeiffer) look from Scarface. Yes, that 80s glam has always been a huge inspiration behind my looks. Throughout the movie, her outfits have been consistently glamorous and I simply love it.
So, what better way to dress up a relatively simple black dress than with a statement fur stole? Maison Elama's ALEXA Stole in Black instantly made my outfit so much more alluring.

The whole outfit was perfect for New Year's Eve at Bar George, which is situated right inside the monumental Le Mount Stephen. All in all, I felt like I was in a movie with all the glamour.
