Discovering ROCKWOOD

BETHANIE Bomber Jacket $1,290

With autumn on its speedy way, we put to rest the old and make way for the new. There's something about storing away our summer wardrobe and bringing out our fall one. For me, there is nothing I love more than fall fashion.

As a way to make way for the new, I wore the BETHANIE Bomber Jacket from MAISON ELÄMA. The jacket's body is made of Black Ponte Fabric and is generous in fit. Extremely comfortable, the Ponte Fabric is soft and and light. My favourite part is, of course, the statement sleeves which feature Canadian Dyed Raccoon fur details. The sleeves truly make this piece a showstopper.

If you thought the sleeves were fun, take a look at this bow! Without taking away the minimalist effect of this jacket, the bow suggests a subtle femininity. You can always count on ELÄMA for minimalism with a twist!

Walking around all day worked up my appetite. I heard about ROCKWOOD not long ago and decided to give it a try. Essentially, the restaurant is a Canadian brasserie in the heart of Old Montreal.

As a starter, I ordered the local halloumi cheese grilled on vine tomatoes, pickles, zaatar and honey with a glass of Chardonnay. This little plate was so refreshing and delicious! For my main dish, I decided to try the East Coast lobster roll served with fries and I wasn't disappointed.

As a pescatarian (a person who does not eat meat but does eat fish), I was pleasantly surprised at all the fish and vegetarian options ROCKWOOD offered. I simply had to text my friends about this place!

Open 7/7, from noon to midnight, you can go to ROCKWOOD either for lunch or dinner! It is located at 101 Saint-Paul W. For reservations, call 514–844–WOOD or visit their website
